Liz Copas now joins Nick Dunn & Charles Martell

Hartpury Village Hall - the talk on Saturday 22nd February 2014 now has an added Cider interest:
Liz Copas will be coming to launch “Cider Apples, a New Pomona"
If you have yet to see her new book, it amplifies the Somerset Pomona, by describing many more cider apples from Dorset, Devon, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. Particularly useful are the descriptions of the resulting ciders – it will become the bible for those craft producers wishing to try our local varieties.
So the day’s full line-up is:
“Troubles, remedies and roots in the orchard”
managing director of
Frank P. Matthews Ltd of Tenbury Wells
Saturday 22nd February 2014
at Hartpury Village Hall (NOT the Orchard Centre)
Over Old Road, Hartpury
GL19 3BJ
11am: coffee
11.30am: Nick Dunn, followed by
‘Question and Answer’ session and the formal launch of
Charles’ Martell’s “The Perry Pears of the Three Counties”
From 1pm : Book signing by Charles Martell and Liz Copas
Cost: £5 including finger buffet and perry tasting

As well as the two books, local ciders, perries and other orchard related gifts will be on sale.
I am told Nick will also have some copies of his “Trees for your Garden”
What a feast !
